DoveRescue Care Circle

Help a neighbor get the in-home care they need.

Some older adults need more hours of care than they can pay for. The Care Circle lets churches, mosques, temples, nonprofits, foundations, organizations and families sponsor care hours for someone in their community.

Planned  Giving is not open yet. Sponsors can register interest now; no payment is taken on this website.

How it works

Sponsor care hours for an older adult in your community.

Coverage Rescue finds a caregiver when a shift opens up. The Care Circle helps when the problem is paying for the care itself.

  1. Choose who to help

Pick a person from the cards the circle shares, or give to the circle and let it go where the need is greatest.

  2. Give money or hours

Make a one-time gift, pledge a number of care hours, or give every month.

  3. See the difference

Your support goes to care that was actually delivered, and you see the hours your gift made possible, never anyone's private details.

Who can sponsor

Anyone who wants to keep a neighbor safe at home.

Sponsors give on their own or together, and a congregation, a family and a foundation can all support the same person.

  • Churches, mosques and temples

Turn a care ministry or outreach fund into hours of help for members and neighbors.

  • Nonprofits

Add in-home care hours to the support you already give older adults.

  • Foundations

Fund care hours in the communities your grants serve.

  • Individuals

Help one person stay at home, once or every month.

  • Family members

Share the cost of a relative's care, including from out of town.

  • Living-assistance providers

Support people in your area who aren't ready to move but need more help.

  • Nursing-home and senior-living organizations

Help bridge the time before a move, or after a return home.

  • Government agencies

Talk with us about adding sponsored hours alongside existing programs.

Ways to give

Give once, pledge hours, or give every month.

Giving opens when our partner nonprofit or licensed payment processor is in place. Until then, register your interest and we'll contact you.

  • One-time gift

Choose an amount. It goes toward care hours for the person you choose or for the circle as a whole.

    Give once (opening soon)
  • Hours pledge

Pledge a number of hours of professional in-home care. It's a gift that pays for care, not volunteer time.

  • Monthly giving

Give a set amount every month so someone can count on steady help.

    Give monthly (opening soon)

No payment is ever taken on this page. Give buttons will lead to the partner charity's or processor's own secure page.

Choosing who to help

Turn a card. Meet someone you could help.

Sponsors choose from cards like these. They show just enough to decide: a first initial, an age range, a general area and the help that's missing. Never a name, address, photo or health record.

Simulated demo — fictional examples, not real people. Nothing here is a real request for care.

Your impact

See what your gift did, without anyone's private details.

  • Hours of care delivered

Sponsors see the care hours their gift paid for, and the circle shares its totals.

  • A thank-you and a record

Each gift gets an acknowledgment for your records from the organization that received it.

  • Privacy first

No names, addresses, photos or health information are ever shown to sponsors or published.

FAQs

Questions sponsors ask.

Is the Care Circle open?

Not yet. The Care Circle is planned as part of DoveRescue. You can register your interest now, and we'll contact you when giving opens. The cards on this page are fictional examples.

Who handles the money?

Contributions are processed through a partner nonprofit or licensed processor; tax-deductibility depends on the receiving charity. The Dove Circle does not hold donor money. We'll name the partner before giving opens.

Is my gift tax-deductible?

That depends on the receiving charity and your own situation. We'll say who receives each gift before giving opens. Please ask your tax adviser.

What is an hours pledge?

A pledge to pay for a number of hours of professional in-home care, for one person or for the circle. It isn't a promise of volunteer time.

Can I choose who I help?

Yes. You can choose a person from the cards the circle shares, or give to the circle as a whole. Real cards are shared only with the family's permission and never show a name, address, photo or health details.

Can our congregation or organization give together?

Yes. Churches, mosques, temples, nonprofits, foundations and companies can sponsor as a group, alone or alongside a family.

Does this replace insurance or public benefits?

No. Sponsorship helps with care that isn't otherwise paid for. Families should keep using every program they qualify for.
