The Dove Circle app: privacy policy

Draft prepared 8 October 2026, aligned with the app workstream's publishing guide (TDC-APP-003). Bracketed items need confirmation before publishing and before each store submission.

Who we are

The Dove Circle app is published by [developer name exactly as on the App Store and Google Play; legal entity to be confirmed]. Contact: hello@thedovecircle.com.

What the app collects

  • Version 1.0 (demo): no personal data is collected or shared. Demo screens use fictional data stored only on your device.
  • When accounts are switched on [future release]: your name, work email, a user ID, and notes you or your agency add (for example call-log notes), used only to run the app for your agency.
  • We don't sell personal information or use it for advertising or tracking.

Health information

The app does not store protected health information. It will not do so until its back-end service runs on a HIPAA-eligible plan with a signed Business Associate Agreement and attorney approval. [Update this section before that release.]

Who processes data

[Name the hosting provider for the secured service (TDC-SW-002) and any e-mail or notification provider.]

Retention and deletion

You can delete your account in the app (Settings › Delete account) or by request on the delete your account page. Some records may have to be kept by your agency by law; we'll tell you which. [Retention periods to be confirmed.]

Children

The app is intended for adults working in, or receiving, home care. [Confirm.]

Changes

We'll update this page, the App Store privacy details and Google Play Data safety in the same release whenever data collection changes. [Effective date at publication.]
