DoveOnCall: The office may close. Care doesn't.
Home care doesn't clock out. Neither do we.
DoveOnCall answers your agency's calls after the office closes. AI handles the routine, trained people stand behind it, and your team wakes up to a clear report instead of a pile of voicemail.
In development DoveOnCall is being built now. Pilot agencies help shape it.
What it handles
Every after-hours call, answered and followed through.
DoveOnCall is designed for the calls agencies get every night, and for the ones that can't wait until morning.
-
AI telephone answering
Every call is answered in a calm, natural voice, at 2 AM as well as 2 PM.
-
Caller verification
Confirms who is calling before discussing any schedule or client detail.
-
Call classification
Sorts each call: call-out, late arrival, schedule question, family concern or emergency.
-
Caregiver call-outs
Takes the call-out, finds the affected visit and starts the coverage search right away.
-
Late arrivals
Lets the client or family know, and checks the caregiver is still on the way.
-
No-shows
When a visit hasn't started on time, DoveOnCall raises it before a family has to call.
-
Human escalation
Hands the call to your on-call person, or a trained DoveOnCall agent, whenever it should.
-
Approved actions only
Acts only within the steps your agency has approved in advance. Anything else goes to a person.
-
DoveRescue activation
When a shift needs covering, DoveRescue starts looking for a replacement immediately.
-
Morning reporting
A clear summary of the night, ready in the DoveOS dashboard when the office opens.

How it works
Answer, act within your rules, report.
You decide what DoveOnCall may do on its own and when it must hand off to a person. It never improvises outside those rules.
-
FirstEvery call is answered
Callers reach a real conversation, not a voicemail box, whatever the hour.
-
ThenApproved steps happen right away
Call-outs start a coverage search, families are updated and managers are alerted, all according to the playbook you set.
-
By morningYou see everything that happened
The DoveOS dashboard shows each call, decision and outcome, so the morning starts with facts.
Benefits
Better nights for everyone in the circle.
For clients and families
A real answer at any hour, and a heads-up before a visit is missed, not after.
For caregivers
Calling out is quick and judgement-free, and open shifts reach the people who want them.
For your office
Fewer 3 AM phone calls for managers, fewer surprises at 8 AM, and a record of every decision.
Emergency protocol
Emergencies go to 911 and to a person, first.
DoveOnCall is designed to recognize when a caller may be describing a medical emergency, a fall, or someone in danger. It tells the caller to hang up and call 911, and it alerts your on-call manager at once. It is not an emergency service and never replaces 911.
Human support
A person is always one step away.
Callers can ask for a person at any time. Calls that fall outside your approved playbook are handed to your on-call staff or to a trained DoveOnCall agent, with the conversation so far already summarized.
Integrations
Works alongside the tools you already use.
DoveOnCall is planned to connect to the scheduling and caregiver systems agencies already rely on, so it can see the visit schedule and record what happened. Each connection depends on that vendor's permission and an agreement with your agency.
Today, no third-party integrations are live. We'll list each one here once it's built and tested. DoveOnCall is designed to work with DoveRescue and DoveOnDeck inside DoveOS.
FAQs
Questions agencies ask.
Is DoveOnCall available today?
Not yet. DoveOnCall is in development. We're talking with agencies about pilots; the demo on this page is simulated and uses fictional people.
Does it replace our on-call staff?
No. It handles routine calls and approved steps so your on-call staff are only called when a person is truly needed. You choose where that line is.
What happens with an emergency call?
The caller is told to hang up and call 911, and your on-call manager is alerted immediately. DoveOnCall is not an emergency service.
Can callers reach a human?
Yes. Callers can ask for a person at any time, and calls outside your playbook are handed off automatically.
What does DoveOnCall cost?
Pricing hasn't been set. Pilot terms are agreed with each agency. Ask us using the form below.
How is caller and client information protected?
DoveOnCall is being designed so that agency information is only available to verified callers and authorized staff, and stays in secured systems rather than in this website. Please don't send client details through this website's forms.
