DoveDrive: DoveDrive™Chore to chore. Not just door to door.™
A ride that starts at the kitchen table and ends there too.
Most rides begin at the curb. DoveDrive plans the whole trip: help getting ready, a steady arm to the car, the drive, company inside the appointment, the errand on the way home and a hand back through the front door. The driver is a screened caregiver from a participating care center, off duty and matched to the help the trip calls for, and the ride is confirmed against the care center's own schedule before anyone is told it is set.
DoveDrive is the circle out on the road. Care centers and aging agencies help shape each release.
DoveDriveFrom the request to home, every step covered
What it does
The trip is the chores, not the miles.
What DoveDrive does for the person riding, the family arranging it and the care center behind it.
Chore-to-chore journeys
A request is written down as steps: getting ready, out to the car, the drive, into the appointment, the errand, back inside. Each step says what help it needs, so the trip is arranged as a whole, not as two addresses.
Caregivers who come inside
Drivers are caregivers from participating care centers, screened and trained for the help a step asks for, such as walking support or a steady transfer into the car. A trip that needs more than a caregiver may do is routed elsewhere.
First available or the best hand
Choose the first eligible caregiver who can take the whole trip, or let DoveOnDeck™ rank the people who fit it best: training, distance, availability and the preferences a family is allowed to state.
Confirmed means confirmed
A caregiver can look free and not be. DoveDrive holds the match, checks the care center's own schedule in DoveOS™ and only then says the ride is set. If anything changed in between, it says so instead.
If plans change, DoveRescue™ steps in
A caregiver falls ill, a credential lapses, a shift gets moved. The step that is affected goes to DoveRescue for a replacement, and the rider hears from a person.
After the ride, only if you want
When the trip is done, the rider can say whether more help at home would be welcome. If so, DoveOnBoard™ starts the conversation with the care center. If not, nothing more happens.
Who it is for
Riders, families, caregivers and the care center.
Riders and families
A trip to the doctor, the pharmacy, the grocery store or a grandchild's recital, with help at every step and one person from start to finish.
Caregivers
Rides on days you are not scheduled, within the rules your care center and your state set, paid for the whole journey and not just the miles.
Care centers
A new way to serve the people who call about rides, with your own caregivers, your own schedule in charge and a path from one trip to ongoing care when a family asks for it.
Aging agencies and partners
Transportation is one of the most common requests an aging agency hears. DoveDrive gives those calls somewhere to go that comes with a caregiver, not just a car.
DoveDrive is not an ambulance, a medical transport service or a clinical service. Trips that need medical equipment, a wheelchair-accessible vehicle or a licensed clinician are referred to services built for them. Transportation licensing, insurance and employment rules differ by state and are part of what pilot care centers and counsel are working through before any ride is offered.
The path
Chore to chore. Not just door to door.
Five steps, and the Doves that carry each one.
- FirstThe trip is written down
Where, when, and what help each step needs: getting ready, out to the car, the appointment, an errand, back inside.
- ThenThe right caregiver is found
DoveOnDeck looks at who is off duty, trained for the help this trip needs, cleared to drive and close enough, then offers the first available or the best hand.
- NextThe ride is confirmed, for real
DoveDrive holds the match, checks the care center's schedule in DoveOS, and only then tells the rider it is set.
- ThenThe journey
Arrival, the handoff, the drive, the appointment and the way home, each step recorded as it happens. If something changes, DoveRescue finds a replacement for the step that needs one.
- AfterHome, and a question if you want it
The rider is settled at home. If more help would be welcome, DoveOnBoard begins the conversation with the care center. If not, that is the end of it.
How it connects
One of the 12 Dove Branches around your care center.
DoveDrive is the circle out on the road. It borrows the matching, the schedule, the rescue and the intake the other Doves already do, so a ride gets the same care as a visit.
The right caregiver for the trip
DoveOnDeck matches a caregiver whose training, distance and availability fit every step.
The schedule has the last word
A ride is confirmed only after DoveOS shows the caregiver is free and the time is held.
A replacement when plans change
The affected step goes to DoveRescue, and the rider hears from a person.
From one ride to ongoing care
When a rider asks for more help, DoveOnBoard starts the intake with the care center.
Good to know
What DoveDrive is, and is not.
- DoveDrive is not an ambulance or a medical transport service and does not claim any insurance or program reimbursement.
- Transportation-for-hire rules, insurance and how a caregiver is paid for a ride differ by state; each office follows its own state's rules with counsel.
- No care center, agency or transportation provider is a partner unless it says so in writing.

FAQs
Questions about DoveDrive.
How do we start with DoveDrive?
Use the form below. Rides are set up with your office, its caregivers and the rules of your state.
Who drives?
A screened caregiver from a participating care center, on a day they are not scheduled, matched to the help the trip needs. Never a stranger from a ride app.
Is this medical transportation?
No. Trips that need medical equipment, an accessible vehicle or a clinician are referred to services built for them. DoveDrive is for the everyday journeys where a caregiver's help makes the difference.
What does “confirmed” mean?
That DoveDrive checked the care center's own schedule in DoveOS and the caregiver is truly free and held for the whole trip. Until then the ride is only requested, and the app says so.
Will someone try to sell us home care after a ride?
No. After the trip the rider can say whether more help at home would be welcome. Only if they say yes does DoveOnBoard begin a conversation with the care center.
How do I stay in touch?
